Moving in a new direction

I'm having fun moving in a new direction. Where am I going? Quilting, Mixed Media, Paper and fabric together? I'm not sure but it feels good and right so I'm going to stay on this path. I've been learning about quilting- books, groups, magazines and even made a few quilts. Now, there is no way I'm going to make traditional quilts, but I think the elements of quilting really appeal to me. Fabric, thread, applique. Plus the quilting community if vast, varied, and fun to be a part of.
